Gunjan Menon is a filmmaker and a conservationist from India. She is a published photographer and her short, ‘The Cyan Confluence’ won the ‘Best Documentary’ award at the CIH Wildlife Film Festival ’13. She has broadcast experience as an Assistant Producer and script researcher on Natural History, travel and children’s science television shows. Besides her work in wildlife, Gunjan has worked as a freelance producer, camerawoman and editor for MTV digital and Buzzfeed. Her keen interest in anthropology and endangered species took her to Nepal where she trekked 12,000ft in the Himalayas to film wild Red Pandas and their unique bond with a native woman. She wants to revolutionize conservation filmmaking and aspires to inspire people and make a difference through her stories.
